A 4-day intermediate – advance onboard STCW Medical First Aid Course offered in conjunction with a sister company who are an approved MCA Training Provider for this
course. This MCA approved STCW Proficiency in Medical First Aid is designed for seafarers who are designated to provide medical first aid on board ship in accordance with STCW AV1/
4 (1-3).
This course is a requirement of the MCA manning tables within various codes / M Notices including but not limited to: Large Yacht Code, Workboat Code and HS-OSC (High Speed Offshore Service Craft) and aimed for vessels operating in Cat 1 waters (150nm from a safe haven) carrying additional medical supplies onboard.
